P Stoner
That looks fantastic and the load should look great. Could you take a pic next to another a/c just as a size reference. Well done so far....... It is a beast of a pig! Next to the Hornet it looks like it's 24th scale. Had to make some changes with the decals on this mutt! Just about eady for a wash! dmthamade
Wow!! That's big!! That's a problem too.... Don't think that's going to fit in my display case. Thanks for the comparison, much appreciated. Don
joe
Thanks for the size pic. It's a big unit so obviously the prowler will be bigger again. Very nice stash of F-4's you in the back ground too....! Top stuff all round
scvrobeson
This looks awesome so far Paul! The F-18 looks pretty great as well. Hope to see the Intruder finished at some point at one of the California contests coming up. Matt

The poor hornet and the twim TBM got put up thanks to the A-6 kit! If I have the time I may bring the hornet with. Hope to see you there Matt. Lee White
First time I ever saw a real Intruder was when I visited the Intrepid.... That thing was a monster! so, I can imagine how big the model is... It lives up to the "Large" in Large Scale Planes.

Hope to see the A-6 in the flesh, it looks really great so far. And hopefully I can pick up some tips for when I do my build of it. That Hornet is really pretty, the CoNA schemes are really amazing on the Hornet. Matt
P Stoner
Tonight I decided to get the seats out and have a look. You ever just find stuff you forgot you had, until you look inside a kit that has been shelfed for awhile? I found another -7 seat in a Tamiya F-14 kit and started to compair the three options I now have available. Quickboost, ( I believe Avionix, truthfully I don't have a clue!) and the kit's seat minus the harness. A little help needed for the center seat!!! I like the detail and the padding on the QB seat, but the angle of the seats back is a little off. The Other seat and the kit's seat has the same and will fit without any modifying! The QB seat has a pretty noticable gap, where the other don't. Thought I'd just share what options I have to seat this beefy pig up with! Nic C.D.
I have to say, that kit seat doesn't look bad at all! It seems to be a very goog basis for a good looking seat; some evergreen and some wires and you're there! Thanks very much for posting this, very helpful indeed! joe
Hmm...I have those QB seats for my trumpy tomcat. Wonder if the angle suits the tomcat? P Stoner
P Stoner
The QB seats are pretty much the same as Aires seat - seat harness! I'll post some pics of the seats in the F-14 cockpit, there is the same problem with the angle of the back! Anyone know what the proper angle would be?
