Excellent work so far, that kit looks like an engineering marvel! I will have to get myself one! One quick note: German Oxygen bottles were normally painted blue for identification, not red.....

Excellent work mate! I love the instrument panels!

I think these are the compressed air for the ejection seat. There are several bottles throughout the kit that are painted blue.

KEWL! I really do want this kit bad......................I cant wait to see (somehow) if I can replicate the NASM type scheme...............Looking forward to more progress!!!

Man I really want this kit along with some Owl decals but the price is still a bit steep for me with my impending Reno trip, so Ill have to envy yours for the time being............... :popcorn:

Your detail painting is excellent.

 

I have the kit as well and I was just wondering about the end of the cowling actuator rods. They appear to be moulded fully extended to allow you to pose the cowls open. I appears you have painted them 02 with ends in red. In the instructions, I took it to mean the ends are shown in red to indicate the pieces to be removed from the ends to model the cowls closed. I may be wrong in my interpretation but I thought I should raise it with you so I can confirm the idea with others and afford you the opportunity to change if the need arises.
