K5IKL
Are the Trumpeter Wildcats worth the effort, to go to the expense of getting one? Cheers, Jerry
Erwin
I would say their ok. If you want to build a Wildcat it's better than the old Revell one.

Yeah, I have two of the old Revell kits. Noticed on another forum that a guy had 3 of the Trumpeter kits for sale and thought maybe I might indulge myself in one. LSP_Mike
IIRC, the y had an issue with the floor in the initial release, later corrected, but worth asking. I have the -3 Wildcat for my Yellow wings collection.
Hubert Boillot
Definitely so ... BUT, make sure you have a corrected release, where the shape of the nose ahead of the windscreen has been corrected.... IIRC, this was in 2009. Hubert
Guest Peterpools
I have one in the stash for a future build and it's night and day over the old Revell kit. Of course, when the time comes to actually building the kit, lots of AM products will be needed.
