the second update in one month! This must be a first in this thread

LOL, I shall aspire to this too!

Shame it wont be seen, it really does look sensational.  I still look in awe that this is all scratchbuilt!  This will need to be in a museum when you finish

Stunning

I am glad you're making more frequent updates, guess you're inspired by the Jetmads builds going on in this forum? Keep up the good work, I'm watching.

Don't keep your expectations too high, Stoffe. I am not sure that the updates will be more frequently in the future ...

Cheers

Morning gents,

thank you very much for your kind words!

Sweeet! You know, the big belly doors can be open...I mean if you want to show off the tubes and pipes, at least you could leave one open for service.

Feels almost like a sin to close a door over all that work!

Yes, I know that the doors can be opened. Unfortunately, because I got the spacing of the stiffeners wrong :BANGHEAD2:, the proportions of the pipes and tubes are also wrong. So the door will be closed ...

Well, actually I have no idea where I could display this big bird in our home. So, if I can do the mighty Viggen justice, I consider to donate it to one of the wings that actually flew it.

Thanks a lot, Maru.

But I'm afraid this build is stalled for the moment. I just don't get anything done right now. There is a real danger that this build will end on the shelf of doom.

No problem Rainer...whenever you are ready (I will, of course, keep bugging you though! lol :) ).

Rainer,

No need to hurry .

Take a rain check on this build, go do something completely different and when you get back to it I will be here to watch more building.
