Sweet. The NMF on the fuselage and wings looks terrific.

Keep 'em coming

Karl

Perfect! Nice going. Are you planning on using a sealer over the Alclad?

thanx for the wishes, kevin!

no alclad here, its a metalizer

i read that the sealer breaks the metal like shine, so i dont want to. first try with the declas turned out great, no film to see.... stay tuned

decals go on. these are nicely printed and in register, but have lots of clear film between the stencils, its better to cut out the individual stencil and apply. you have to cut out the middle part of the red and yellow outlines around some openings or they get covered up by clear film (as is on the side of the fuse). cut it while the decals is still dry, or you will wrestle with it (ask me how i know)

for the tank i cut some masks to use different shades of metalizer for different parts. its very hard to make the seam of the tank invisible, the metalizer seems to highlight them, as the metal paint is extremly thin. on the first try you could even see the line between primered and not primered parts. this was a mistake on my part, i should have not only used surfacer on the joint
