Radders
Bit of a long shot, but does anyone know where I can get scale plans for a Short Skyvan? I'm going to embark on a new project after the new year!
KOTR
You need a plan for a simple box? Sorry, could not resist
Guest Nigelr32
If it's any help, Airfix kitted it in 1/72 scale many years ago. Perhaps you could buy one and scale up from that??
wunwinglow
I have a vague idea it was in one of the newspaper issues of Aviation News from the 1970's. I'll have a look when I get home.... Tim

I've actually got one, and will use it for a reference, but good call!. I'm after some plans to photocopy to the right size. I'm going for a 32nd scale one.... Hopefully it won't be to hard because it's so boxy

Aerobat
Thanks Tim, Your right it is but I can't find anything online. I've probably got the issue at my dads house somewhere too! It's Aviation News Volume 5 number 13 you should look for. There used to be a plans service that sold them , but is seems to be just an archive listing now. http://www.aviation-...ansservice.html Flight International did a cut away drawing you can download from their site: http://www.flightglo...wing-82078.aspx This drawing goes back aways, though- it's the Skyvan 2 with French Turboméca Astazou engines. Lee White
Hopefully it won't be to hard because it's so boxy I think that this is a great candidate fro a first scratch build, Radders- Boxy, no compound curves- I'll be watching this project closely!! Good luck!! Edit- Found a link that might help- http://s197.photobucket.com/albums/aa78/JJELLIS_PHOTO/Shorts%20Skyvan/ Edited December 1, 2012 by Lee White
