elric
seats no belts yet, forward floor no bomb sight as this is where the radar will go, rear instruments and gun. also had some fun with the wheels, did not like single centre line wheel on fuselage so made it a double. elric
Hi Guys,Not a huge amount of progress, a few pics of the cockpit & a test fit for you just to show I am still about. The radar nose is to pointed and needs to be more rounded in the virtical axis, so that will have to be re made. Never mind must keep going. Bob. Bob, I understand, My JU 88G6 needs the smallest of details done to be complete and it's a year over due for me! I'm now knee deep in my B-25 build below your post and have god knows how many hours into it since the 4th of Feb and I'm just trying to work smart and use the hours I spend on it to maximize production and quality. Careful planning has allowed me to make fairly rapid progress I think. Keep at it Bob, you'll have a real gem to add to the display case.. Oh you may have to build a bigger display case! elric
Ok a bit more done this time the inner front bulkhead of the cockpit, although you will most probably not see this once finished.and the front of the bulkhead where the radar dish will fit.The radar dish inside the nose, viewed from access panel below.and a couple of shots of the nose slowly taking shape.Bob. LSP_Paul
Very cool Bob, Looks like you reshaped the nose a little too? Man that's gonna be neat! The bulkhead details turned out nice, and I'm sure you will be able to see some if with all the JU-88 Glass. Keep up the great work! Paul

moksha
What a project-this is facsinating. I was going to attempt a Elric and Moonglum simile. But stopped. Because that would be about as understandable as mounting an Fw on say a JU88 Many thanks for sharing! Edited February 25, 2013 by moksha
