otis252 Posted November 22, 2012 Share Posted November 22, 2012 Hey Guys, got the big Tamiya Eagle on the way and was wondering about available cockpit sets for it. I will be doing it as a late model Eagle. I know Aires makes a "Late" Cockpit Set. Does that include the MSIP upgrade with the PACS Multi-Purpose Color Display on the left side of the IP? Any thoughts on this set as well as the BB/Aivionx set as well. What other AM sets are out there to upgrade it to modern F-15C standards? Thanks for any help. The late Aires set is the way to go on this kit apparently. Some say the 'pit is too short for the kit, and it apparently is, but only by a very small amount which can be corrected by a slither of plastic card at the rear of the avionics bay. Darren Howie Posted November 23, 2012 Share Posted November 23, 2012 The detail in the Aires set is beautiful. The one I'm working on fitted perfectly into the fuse section. The WP MSIP set was out of stock, Get that next time. Now, I just need to come up with 2 Revell 600 Gal. tanks. Any ideas on that?
