Chris McMillin
Great project, I like the idea because I love lockheed twins. My father flew for a construction company and they had this Lodestar for a few years. It was white, gray and orangey red. I always thought it was cool. Chris... Radders
Won't be until after new year now, everything's been packed away. Quite a big update to come though Thanks for following, and hope you all a happy new year!
Guest Nigelr32
Did you get a Dauntless yet? Were you planning to take a mould off the engine, or buy two kits? Have you seen this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vector-VEC32006-1-32-Wright-R-1820-G-late-/140891037032 Or, I can lend you my dauntless engine, but it's not built, and I don't want it to be built?? You could glue it together with white glue to make your mould then return it though??
Radders
Not even thought any more of the engine yet, just sorting out the fuselage at the moment. Tom Probert does have a spare set that he's going to lend me after xmas. So will see from there Thanks for the offer though!!
Radders
Apologies for the lack of updates, I get more done and I'm quite busy with work at the moment..I've managed to get the windows cut out, cockpit floor in place, cabin floor in place and some frame work, curtains plus the bulkheads with some detail. Been making the radio parts they just need painting and fitting but won't be fitted until it's all painted inside. Hopefully look ok but considering your not going to see much.....Also note the square hole in the side, thats for a spar. More on that later.IMG_8155 by Rainbow 1984, on FlickrScratch build radio compartment seat.IMG_8154 by Rainbow 1984, on FlickrShould have a better update soon i've done alot more since. I just grabbed these off my girlfriends G11 before they get wiped. Edited February 26, 2013 by Radders sandokan and KiwiZac
Radders
Does anyone know what colour to do the seat fabric? Or would it be leather. Also, any clues onto a best match for the interior green. Coming up to paint soon so may just make something that looks 'alright'.
LSP_Kevin
Hi mate, I've noticed you've picked this one up again over at Britmodeller. It'd be great if you could continue the progress with us too. It even qualifies for the new ABIM GB, so I could move it if you like. Kev
Lee White
Kev, maybe it would be best to contact Radders over on Britmodeller? He hasn't been here since March, apparently..... HTH.

Radders
Well, I'm back again... and for good this time. I need to get this done for next year, so it can go on the LSP/32ndSIG table for Scale Model World 2018... It's a lot of work ahead, but one of my favourite non-Soviet aircraft and i'm shocked I've had this for as long as I have, I thought it was only 2 years!!I stripped out some of the old work *ages* ago and have taken a photo just now of where I'm at. So yeah, a lot of work ahead... but my bench as it is as i'm writing this, scratching my head as to where to start.. wish me luck! Radders
Thanks chaps, it's great to have it back out. I'm just a bit gutted I ripped out some of the good work, it's all been binned since too... so 10 steps back, and hopefully many forward now.Photos of how it is now, will add more later on of some work I've done tonight, windows cut out, panels/bulkheads cut out etc!
