wunwinglow
Really nice! I don't know why these kits are not more popular, because they are top quality, beautifully engineered, and they make up into such attractive models, as yours show! I bet if they did some pre-world war 2 German subjects, they'd sell bazillions... Tim
Rui Silva
Nice models! I also have these models to make plus a Revell Cub to tow them. Rui
Smokeyforgothispassword
Fantastic work. Those wings are a bugger to keep straight, did you have any problems?
discus
Thanks guys. @ Shane, no specific problem that I remember. Revell did the wing spars like in the actual thing. That helps the wing assembly. And generally for this type of assembly I make a special glue mix: I add few drops of cyano in the cement to accelerate the process. As for the (low) popularity, I remember some years ago, when I started modeling, before Revell started releasing those kits, I asked my local retailer and his answer was strait forward: "Gliders ? not interest, that's all white and no interesting shape..." :o/ One thing I learnt building these (alhough I am a glider pilot): with the scale models you really see how long the wings are. I never got the same feeling on the real thing.
