So what is the KING/Queen of twins...?? The HE-219 and Tigercat would be in the running.....

Cheers,

ggc

I would have to say the P-61 would have to be the King/Queen of twins considering it size and speed! Tigercat a close second.

The 219 is very cool, and I definitely want one, but Big Boss Man is just way beyond that. I really, really, really, want that one. Seeing that guy round the pylon is probably the most fun thing imaginable about Reno. (It certainly isn't the blue haired ladies in smoke filled casinos).

Sorry for the off topic meandering. We have to thank Revell for their courage in making some great planes at superb prices (in the one true scale).

Without wanting to throw cats among pigeons, the title of best twin of WW2 would surely have to go to de Havilland's wooden wonder...

Kev

Seconded.

Thirded did

And Quadrupled that all the way to kingdom come!

All may be true from an overall perspective..............but for me NOTHING is prettier than that T-cat. The mossie is great, but for me it doesnt even remotely hold a candles shadow to an F7F.

Now what were we talking about again................oh yeah. I want an He-219..................

Guess I am happiest here as I like the choice of the Awesome Owl best. Saw the restored fuselage in D.C. and it was more exciting to see that fuselage than the active Tigercat here in Everett that I see fly around. Not belittling the T.C. as it makes a Super sound, but I would trade that to see an Owl flying around any day!
