phasephantomphixer
Well Ray, That would be abnormal as I already have the K and not the N!
GVINCENT
Hello, The "K" is the big tail, correct? Thanks! Gary V.
Collin
This kit contains tail parts for both the E and K variant. K has the larger (broader) tail with the fillet. I'm glad I bought a few of these when there first came out because they are hard to find. I ruined my K during construction, and it's been tough finding a replacment kit. Learstang
Nice. And I have just the VVS scheme to do it in. White fuselage with O.D. wings and tail. Regards, Jason
GrahamF
Is this the kit with the nice completely clear aft cockpit glazing?
Collin
P-40E: http://www.warbirddepot.com/dbimages/165/165-a-1280.jpg P-40K: http://www.swannysmodels.com/P40K.html http://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/decals/bar/images/bar_48007_p.jpg Pretty much the E and K are the same aircraft except for the tail from the outside, there are some others like the exhaust stacks and such. Understanding P-40 variants is a interesting subject, lot of productions mixes. This kit comes with the parts you need to build both variants. CharlesMetz
Is this the kit with the nice completely clear aft cockpit glazing? You're probably thinking of the P-40N: [credit: http://en.wikipedia....rtiss_P-40N.jpg ] Unfortunately, Hasegawa released only a very small number of those kits as a "Limited Edition," and they're now nearly impossible to find. TimW
I missed the boat on the "N." Tried to order one through my hobby shop and they never did get it...then it was too late! I do have the K and the M, though. My E is already built. Sure do need a replacement cockpit for the Trumpy B, though... Cheers, Tim W.

You can get the cockpit for the Trumpy B from Mike West @ Lone Star Models. It's a really nice set.
