I finally got started on the ground work and took some pix before I affixed the figs permanently. I am trying to combine two pictures into one dio so it will be hard to get it to look just like the pic. I took two different sets to show the two different groups of POWs.

JRutman!!!

You are my Guru! Fantastic work! I am having my eyes riveted. Where there for my diorama for your work. I will be waiting impatiently for the end... At least from the other side it is possible to watch such relations ad infinitum...

Thanks Harv,

Nice of you to say!

Got the groundwork about 90% done. The road may look uninteresting but I am trying to match the pics and the road in the pics IS uninteresting!

Back to work on the figgies. I made a blunder(not unusual for me) and did not put a mounting post in each fig before I finished them. I had to back to accomplish that and so damages about 4 of them. Oh well, where is the door to that salt mine?

Jerry your rendition of this famous photograph scene is simply stunning, hats down. I am fascinated by the fact how closely you are able follow the atmosphere of the real thing it's so apparent and pleasantly striking. this is ART man!

Thanks for sharing
