Really...

Would we expect anything less than inuendo from this fellow?

What I find galling, is that this particular individual often enjoys taking a moral stand on issues, yet makes his living writing pornography.

For me, it's simply a business deal that did not work out, and I support both sides in their efforts to bring us new kits.

It is complex matter, which can not and should not be clarified in a forum discussion.

These two statements pretty well sum things up for me.

Excuse me? What the *hell* does one have to do with the other? Is writing erotica (please define "pornography") illegal or immoral to anyone besides you? And what gives you the right to judge what is or isn't moral for another person?

Well, this sounds too much like a messy divorce to me.

I want a B-25B and a B-25J and a B-17. I'd like that Hudson (Lodestar, actually) and P-61 as well, and it could be a great time for 1/32 scale.

Best of luck to both parties in their separate ventures, and my wallet will be the lighter for all of their work.

I don't know about the B-25, I'm immersed in ships right now (no pun intended - well, maybe), but I do have to have that B-17G. They bill it as both F and G models, but all I see is a G. For an F, the Cheyenne tail would have to be replaced and the off set waist gun mounts heavily modified to have them not staggered.

I'm wanting to do a very special tribute build on the B-17G. A few years ago I had the lifetime opportunity to fly in a vintage B-17G, the Liberty Belle. Some of you may know that she crashed a few months outside of Chicago and burned - tragically, a total loss. Flying in her was truly an experience of a lifetime. A friend of mine is a former commercial artist and he has agreed, when the time comes, to try to reproduce her nose art for me. I think I can mask and paint the tail marking, etc.. I think a tribute build to this very, for me, meaningful bird is a worth project. I have a lot of distaste for the way they appear to have done Martin, but it is what it is.

Only real downside is I don't know how much I'm going to have to save, or try to slide past the C-in-C. Also, there are some large scale ship kits coming out, including apparently a 1/35 mid-war Elco 103 Class 80 footer, that are must haves. So many kits, so many of them larger and larger, so little cash and so little time!

The scary thing for me is, I have to agree with TC this time concerning the context, with respect to making statements while lacking the neccessary informations, as some did. But as it is the usual case, he gives everyone who did a verbal left and right hook, giving an excellent example of his attitude, again. There are certainly better ways to point that out, but why use them...?

...not quite the league of Klaus Kinski who turned insulting everyone and everything into its own form of art, but certainly a podium contender...

I don't think That TC had the right to air out Martin's and HK Models so called "Dirty Laundry".. What happened between them is there business and only there business. Both parties are big enough to to speak for themselves. If HK Models disagree with what's been said so far, there is nothing stopping them issuing a statement on their website or one of the Larger Modelling sites out there that have a bit more credit.

That seems like a firm reply. I for one am sort of curious about it and any further details about why your so insistent about Martin's non-involvement with this kit? From a close reading of Martins post, he didn't say one way or another. - Danny

Well Danny, i would advise you read my comment a bit better.........i didn't suggest a "non-involvement", rather the complete opposite, that is to say in engineering, so indicating my suspicion HK did "jack-s#$@" in it!!!!!
