Personally I prefer the "in service" look and you have captured it beautifully. Also good to see you are a fan of pastels and chalks etc like me. The easy removal if you go over the top makes things so much simpler. I don't know why you posted pictures of the real thing sitting on an airfield though. Such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I've used pastels alot for final weathering. As you say, easy to work with and easy to remove if it all goes pear-shaped plus you can buy almost any shade in any colour if you look hard enough. She looks even better outdoors Guy! Hi Frank, thanks for the kind words my friend, much appreciated.I love taking photos under natural lighting. Strong overhead sunshine helps the models look more realistic when posed in front of a backdrop. I'm forever striving for that illusive "perfect" snap. It's great fun trying. With all of my playing around in PS I still have n't captured the look of an old photo the way >>this site<< does.
