LSP_K2
While it may not look like it, I just spent about 45 minutes adding more pre-gloss coat weathering, scuff marks and the like. Next session I'll finish what I need to do, then gloss coat; I'm very much wanting to get some decals on this bird. A wash is going to do wonders for this beast. mustang1989
LSP_K2
Perhaps silly, but I not only gloss coated this today, I also began adding decals tonight.I usually allow the Future to set for 24 hours, but child like impatience got the better of me. I used the "thick and chunky" Tamiya decals. mustang1989
LSP_K2
While gloss coating something the other day, I decided to also gloss the decals on some of these fighters, when I discovered I hadn't added decals to starboard side of Yak, or Mosquito. I resolved this oversight tonight. mustang1989
LSP_Kevin
Love the way these are coming together mate. For all the rewards of churning out an AMS-driven masterpiece, building the way you're doing it here is still an awful lot of fun, and invokes the joys of modelling when we were kids (but to a much higher standard!). Kev I couldn't agree more buddy. My trip today to the (more or less local), hobby shop, did not yield the paint I need for my Mig, so I'll just keep banging away on these other projects, and that's OK with me. LSP_K2
Since the previous four fighters are nearing completion, I decided to move a few more into the assembly line. First up, the now puttied Otaki Razorback. mustang1989
LSP_K2
Followed by the Otaki Corsair, which will be in the tricolor scheme. mustang1989
LSP_K2
And last (for now), but certainly not least, the AMT Bf 109G-6. mustang1989
dodgem37
Scrolling thru your thread is the funnest of fun. From project beginning to project end in 3 photographs. Great stuff. Thanks for sharing this. Sincerely, Mark Edited April 14, 2012 by dodgem37 LSP_K2

LSP_K2
OK, next up is the pretty darn decent Monogram Me 262. This 262 will undoubtedly be a Jabo aircraft, and will also undoubtedly be getting bounced by a Mustang. I have at least three ICM and two Tamiya Mustangs to use for this. mustang1989
LSP_K2
Markings for 262 will be along these lines. (Image scanned from one of my Kagero 262 books.) I much prefer the gray scheme variations over the baby vomit greens. mustang1989

LSP_K2
no one likes baby puke... It's RLM 83 that I try to avoid,... what a sickening color. (Just my opinion folks.)
