Guest Peterpools
Kev !00% correct about the washes adding a ton of life and feeling to the Mig. Glad to see you following though on the New years Resolutions. Keep 'em coming
LSP_K2
Thanks very much fellas, I really do appreciate the sentiments. It certainly feels good to be "back in the saddle", and hopefully, a bit more focused. OK, now the port side gets the treatment. Tomorrow (with any luck), the bottom will get the treatment. LSP_K2
Wow, that looks fantastic K2! I wish I could paint as well as you do. Kev Thanks Kev. I really enjoy painting, so I tend to pick "busy" schemes a lot.

LSP_K2
Thanks Shawn, I like it too, so far. Bottom had not yet been gloss coated (an oversight), so some of the washes from above stained the bottom, but I like it. It has now been gloss coated for further filth tomorrow. GVINCENT
In my opinion, the washes (mostly darkish brown), have had a terrific, though subtle, impact on this bird. I'm a happy guy! Whoa!!!! A knife under the wing! Is that for close quarters dogfighting? (Kidding of course! It just caught my attention! Cheers! LSP_K2
Wow, 3 years between posts! K2, what ever happened to this one, did it ever get finished?? I hadn't visited this thread in a very long time, so didn't even realize there were new posts. To answer your question, no, it never got finished,... yet. I intend to resume work on it after I finish my current 1:24 Bf 109K-4. Out2gtcha
