0311
Basically how to replicate a radiator hose clamp. I think masking tape would be too grainy, I thought of aluminium foil strips but not sure how well it'll adhere to the plastic using CA glue. Or how well it'll take acrylic paint for that matter. Thoughts? Thanks.
spacewolf
Aluminum tape (furnace tape) works well. The CA will bond it no problem. I use enamels to paint the metal tape. Regular plastic tape will work and I've found that paper will work, with a coat of paint or two it looks great. Good Luck Vaughn Edited August 19, 2011 by spacewolf
Out2gtcha
NMF works well but the adhesion is lack luster when cut into strips that small. I use the strong kitchen foil cut into mini strips on the cutting board, then use the MicroScale foil glue and adhere it that way,. Just make sure it dries before you apply. CA also will work on Reynolds Wrap as well. Just less adjustment time. Cheers, Brian
