LSP_Ron
Thanks guys, I sprayed the engine Floquil Engine Black. Quite nice paint, I wish we could still buy it up here. It takes on that yellow reflection like sun bleached black paint can get. I picked out some of the bolts with silver also. More to come Ron
geedubelyer
Dang!, late to the party, sorry Ron. You're off to a super start. The engine looks splendid. I'm trying to ingest as many of these on-line P-51 builds as I can. Modelling vicariously.
LSP_Ron
Thanks I have some more work done on the pit now. I have no idea if I am accurate with the interior for a post war RCAF Mustang but I am not shooting for 100% accuracy here. This is intended to be a fun build not a research project. Thanks for looking,
Ripaman
Wow, that has got some very nice detail and very nicely painted Ron, wish Tamiya would make a 1:24 scale of this. Regards Richard

LSP_Ron
Hi Ron, Looks great so far. Where you getting the deekals from? Brad Thanks, They are rather rare. Printed by Leading Edge for GOMB's (Grumpy Old Model Builders) Modelfest 2005 in Calgary. I didn't attend but got a set from a friend several years ago. I have the same sheet, but won't be using them. No instructions, but placement is pretty obvious.
