Rules of the Road

Recommended Posts

Welcome to our latest Group Build - Mustang Madness! The theme encompasses any variant of the Mustang, from prototypes to post-war derivatives and racers (including the A-36), and in any scale larger than 1/36. There is a special emphasis on celebrating the release of Tamiya's much-anticipated P-51D kit, so if you've got one, bring it! All other LSP Mustang kits are of course welcome too.

Mustang Madness will run from 1 August 2011 to 31 January 2012. Edit LSP_Ron- Extended to the end of May

Let the games begin!

Kev, is the build open to previously started builds or is the new build only rule in effect. My Peter Beater is gonna be awful lonely...

Just asking.

Matt, our standing rule is that a kit must be no more than 25% complete to be eligible for a GB. Of course, in practical terms, 25% translates into something like obviously less than half. Pretty loose in other words. If you'd like it moved, let me know!

Erwin's right, but I've amended my initial post to include that info explicitly. Get on board Joe!

Hi Kev,

I started a Dragon Mustang a month ago, it's in the In Progress thread, I am still fiddling with the cockpit so it's not very far! Could I move it to the Group Build please? It will be great motivation to get it finished!

Regards,

Marcleon

I saw your thread and noticed the comment about asking me to move it. That was the first I knew of it until I looked here! Best to send me a PM for that sort of thing. Anyway, you're all moved mate.

OK fellas, this one is officially over now, and I'll be moving it into the 'Previous Group Builds' section soon. But before I do, if you've got an unfinished build in here and would like it moved to Works in Progress, please let me know - either via PM or a post here (but remember to include a link to your build!). I'd much rather see unfinished entries continued in the WiP forum than abandoned altogether or finished without any further posts.

Thanks Kevin for the great GB, I totally enjoyed this. I am sure this is a severely overdone topic, but can you really overdo the venerable P-51 Mustang???

Put me down for moving these builds if you would, I really wanted to finish them up here, but twas not to be, but I will finish them soon I hope.

My Mantz build....awaiting info....
