A compromise is probably inevitable, but I'd like to make these as "user friendly" and accurate as possible, assuming I decide to have them vacuum formed for sale. 1:72 and 1:48 revetment sections have been available from a variety of manufacturers for quite a while now, but with all of the now available 1:32 aircraft that might be typically found in these revetments, the time might be right for some 1:32 to become available. Do you think a depiction of a sand or dirt fill at the top wouldn't allow the modeller the variety he might want? And would the average modeler want to do the extra work to attain that variety, or is there some other reason? Get back to me here when you can, or PM me if you'd prefer. Thanks, I'm thinking mainly of cost and variety. Far cheaper to provide a blank, and the filling would of course be different from section to section. You're probably right, no matter what method I used to represent the fill material, someone would undoubtedly prefer to do it their own way. I was under the impression that these same style revetments were used in Korea, but after looking at all four of my Osprey Frontline books, all I saw were sandbags and oil drums. That being said, there's still Phantoms, Thuds, Huns, & Spads that could be used. There's probably others as well, but these came immediately to mind;... mind?,...what mind?
