For some just weird reason I skipped that Dottie Mae.. Since the P-47 along with the SAAB 37s are my fav planes (a little bit ahead of P-51Ds..) - I do not understand why, lol.. Think I was on a hiatus but still.. Mostly hit myself - for the decals really. And the chick..? ;)

Yeah the Trumpeter seems nice? have started a Razorback and since I really like the Ns.. kinda where you have to go? :)  Yet to buy one though.. I spend too much time reading about them and collecting stuff.. Aftermarket, like cool decals.. But too little building them! (Though I am making an M and N in 1/48 right now..)

Hell yeah, that would be cool! Js - and I can make someone from the June  10th 1944 Ploesti raid...

Sorry - what was the topic about again?

Still longing for new-tool F6F Hellcat, P-38, Hurricane, F-86, and Razorback P-47 from Tamiya or Hasegawa.  I suppose we might get a good kit from another manufacturer, but I trust those two to do it right, with Tamiya offerings perhaps closer to perfection.

The absence of a new, large-scale Hellcat is particularly bewildering.  How could that not be a hot seller?

I'm resigning myself to the fact that my own wish list may ultimately only come to fruition in 1/32 resin or 1/35 plastic, neither of which appeal.

NO, vacforms will not do. That's like scratching kits out of yoghurt pots. Too much good stuff to be faffing with that.
