Wow look really neat

Love the base how did you do it ??

Cheers

Thanks.

Base is made from plasterboard.

Lines have been inscribed with a needle.

Then I mixed some Tamiya X-1 Black with wood glue and some Sidolux (it's a polish version of Future or Klaar).

This mixture was poured into grooved line.

When it dried I put randomly some grey, dark gray and black pigments and I rubbed them with a big brush.

Some minor corrections had to be made and that's it.

It's pretty easy and it took me about 2-3 hours to do it.

just proves that with some time and patience, and a steady eye/hand, you can build this thing out of the box to not only look perfect, but superb!!!!! although I'm all about AMS as much as everyone else on the boards here. Nice job, and you should be very proud of your work.

I was cruising around looking at 32nd scale Phantoms and saw this one! Great job on the faded/worn SEA paint. A true warbird that survived the Vietnam war...it's forever preserved as a memorial on a stick in front of ANG headquarters at Andrews AFB. I did my final re-enlistment in the USAF under that F-4. It still carries it's MIG kill on the left splitter plate. The Phantom II is my favorite fighter! Again...great job!
