Idea's for a new decalsheet

Hey Everybody

 

Last week I (Finnaly) bought the 1/32 Yak-18 from trumpeter, looking for alternative markings, I found Pictures of this aircraft in Austrian Air Force service, But, I Couldn't find any decals for it.

While we at Flevo Decals were planning to do more non-dutch subjects in the near future, I was thinking of doing a sheet with some more uncommon 1/32 subjects.

 

First of all the Austrian Yak 18 will be on it, I was also thinking about a Dominican P-51B, Syrian Spit. Mk.22 & A Indonesian Ki43

 

There will be more space for some other subjects.

Is there anybody here who has something special that he's been looking for? I'm talking about rare subjects, No American Mustangs, and British Spitfires etc.

 

So If you have any suggestions, please let me know!

Well, let's see: There is Swedish Mustangs: http://www.mustang.gaetanmarie.com/articles/sweden/sweden.htm, the somewhat more familiar Turkish Spitfires and 190's. Wouldn't mind seeing some more decals for Brazilian P-47's that fought with the Allies in Italy. Also wouldn't mind seeing a better rendition of the Thai Ki43's. The old Hasegawa kit had decals for it, but the old decals aren't the best quality and the newer releases don't have them.

 

That is what I can think of off the top of my head, I am sure I can come up with some more!

I didn't know about the Flory model decals!

The FCM decals weren't really well known and are not currently available.

The Thai Ki43 sounds as a nice option.

The USAAF P-47 is something we don't wont on the sheet,

I will do some USAAF stuff, but that's for later on

For this sheet I was thinking about some rare post war Props and early jets

Again, for this release I was not planning to do any RAF, USAAF etc aircraft, but only rare early post war subjects

Hi Niels, Would love some foreign decals like you are suggesting. Tickle my fancy.

Predictable, whatever the thread and subject thereof, it will quickly change to something along the lines of "I want a new Corsair"

PS, Having said that, you may be aware that a few new P-51Ds are being released - Philippines, South Korea, South Africa, Salvadore, Dominica, Guatamala.

with the forthcoming Tamiya P-51D, I will certailnly include some nice P-51 options, a South African option is one for sure!
