anyway, back in the land of sensibly sized lettering, i would have thought that you would do well to follow a recent K-4 build from the WIP forum by dodgem37...

if you can match what he has done with his 109 cockpit then you'll be a better modeller than me (not hard i grant you) but also be right up there with the best that LSP has to offer (now that IS saying something)

 

not the reference / image heavy response you were no doubt looking for, but perhaps a bit more practical from a super-detailing point of view i think

Does anyone have, or know where to get, some good images/diagrams of the K-4's left and right cockpit side panels?? Building the Trumpeter K-4 and redoing the cockpit.

The '109 K cockpit's distinguishing feature was a large vertical panel on the right wall; its upper surface is numbered "60" immediately above.
