Here's a little more progress

Not quite finished seats, those belts are not easy to work with!!

And some more shots...

It's a shame the camera hides the metallic hues on the exhaust nozzles and tail area?? I think the work around the nozzles paid off though.

Fantastic work Nigel.

Very nicely finished - you've captured the brutish look of the Phantom very well.

Wow.....awesome stuff.

You've done a fantastic job on the build and finish.

I can only hope that mine turn out half as good as yours.

Very inpsirational....!

This build has taken over three months out of my life and cost over £200!!

It has the following mods and additions:-

Avionix cockpit, with Aires seats

Aires exhausts

Eduard placards

Eduard Seat belts

Eduard Exterior

Eduard Wheels

Zotz decals

Isra decal Stencils

Little cars landing lights in nose gear

Modified rear fuselage all around the exhaust nozzles

Re-worked Intakes

Re-angled outer wing section with scribed hinges

Plumbing in U/C bays

Re-worked nose gear

Scratch built engines behind open pressure release doors

Additional detailing to 500lb bombs

The model was painted with Gunze 303,309,310 and 311 and then given a gloss coat of Alclad Klear Kote. After decal application the whole model was given a coat of hannants flat varnish.
