I guess all those letters I wrote to Hasegawa to do the 109K finally payed off! I just hope they do the D-11 and 13 now!! or that sombody will resin it up!! Take care and happy modelling!! Alan #>
alaninaustria Posted September 13, 2003 Author Posted September 13, 2003 Woops.... forgot to mention the Amtech P-39 series... now I am a happy camper when this sucker hits the shelves.... I guess somebody was listening to the polls all over the place....... just add some Russian stars to the decal sheets, sit back get the research and measurements right..... this will be a winner!! Cheers Alan P.s Amtech if you are reading this.... please don't change your mind on this one..... I have been waiting years to see this one in Styrene!! Thanks for thinking of us....
Erwin Posted September 13, 2003 Posted September 13, 2003 I just went to the Revell website. Your right, the U-boat will be a hit ! What a model,to bad they don't mention a price. I think its not going to be cheap. I once visited a real U-boot at Kiel,Germany.A museum piece where you can walk inside. Since then I've wanted to make a U-boot,but all the old Revell kits are a bit on the small side so this 1/72 nd is what I want. They will olso make the P-38 again. To bad ,because that one is still around in the old kits. Revell could have done better here .
LSP_Ray Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 Missed a few others in resin, Alan, if you really want to drain that pocketbook: Fisher Models F9f series Panther Productions Skyraider series Collectaire F-80C Aerodynamics Buccaneer And our own Jerry Rutman's Buffalo series!! It's gonna be a good year(s)! #> All of which I have on pre-order btw - except for the Buffalo, only because Jerry won't take pre-orders!
jbrundt Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 I also checked RoG's website and it looks like they are re-issuing the Revell Zero as well as the P-38. Definitely a good year for models. Jeff
