Airtourer
I have just recently completed this model and decided to show it here as my first ready for inspection post. Roden have done a pretty good job producing this kit, there are a few problems but nothing that can't be fixed relatively easy. As I have a few RFC models and all in the PC10 colour scheme, I decided to do this as the prototype hence the overall CDL finish. I also had to open up the centre section in the top wing as per the prototype. The rigging was done using 0.12mm monofilament with 0.1mm twisted wire eyelets and 0.4mm brass tube drilled out to 0.3mm. The last photos shows some of the detailing I did to the engine. A full build log of this model can be seen on my website. Airtourer.

OldTroll
Stunning model! The engine is absolutely gorgeous. I have a couple of these that are waiting for Pheon resin fuselages. I hope I can can produce models as good-looking as this one.
Airtourer
When Roden produced this kit they based their measurements on the prototype. It was only when the aircraft went into production that the length of the fuselage changed, also the tailplane altered. The Pheon Models replacement fuselage made by Brian Fawcett is excellent and will certainly rectify the length problem, I have only seen one example where someone actually did their own fuselage alterations.
