jbrundt
here are the wheel wells; the picture is a bit washed out from the flash so it's hard to see the wash that was applied......

maverick728470
Chris, Well, again u have done it and between the design for the T-Shirt and now this,u'er D-9,just keep it up.U know what u do.Larry
jbrundt
Larry, Actually it's me, Jeff, whose Dora is pictured here...LOL I wish I could take credit for the T-shirt design Chris came up with but alas, no. It just happens that Chris and I both are working on our Dora's at the same time. A happy coincidence no doubt. Now, if we both finish our Dora's in the same scheme that would be quite a coincidence! #> Jeff
Chris/Germany
HY jeff, stupid idea from me to post a second HASE D-9, you´re the first and she´s lokking really good, sorry for that but i´ve been so glad the mount of the electro-motor and the rebuild of the great HASE-tubings in the wheelbay worked out right so I felt I must show somebody ( it´s always a great fight to get a motor in these bird´s whitout killing the interior) Bout the sheme.....mine will be "Red 3" from the "Sachsenberg-Schwarm", must take this to complete the Schwarm......yours? cheers Chris
jbrundt
Chris, No, not stupid of you to post yours. The more the merrier. The motor installtion in yours is impressive. The wiring from it will look real once you get it painted. Hard to tell from the original set in the kit. Mine will be done up in JV-44 scheme of Gallands Circus. I love those candy stripes on the underside. I've been flying one of these in my IL-2 sim and it always looks good on a pass bagging those allied fighters #> Jeff
jbrundt
I was able to get some painting done on my Dora......
jbrundt
And now the bottom........ I ddin't use the decals from the kit. They would have been a PITA. Besides the real one had the stripes painted. This way they look more realistic. Sure it takes more time but it's worth it. enjoy, Jeff
