fozzy
Good start Akondo.....I shall be watching this one with interest as I have to build the 109E3 for a customer! Cheers Fozzy
Akondo
To make it easier to get the placement of the legs right I drilled holes for metal pins. This also allows me to place the figure in the cockpit to check clearances.
Akondo
Finally aligned the legs. I used just the lower part (boots) of the resin kit. I turned the figures head slightly...I think it gives it a more natural look. My first try of Vallejo paints.

Akondo
I still need to finish up the upper seat belts and their attachment points. http://s1181.photobucket.com/albums/x423/Akondo/?action=view¤t=bf109-1-32-shawn-cannon-remote-functions-1-26-2011.mp4 Dynamic Scale Modeling has set me up with a sound/light set!! I just listened to this and it´s cracking good! The most realsitic i have ever heard so far! If only there wasn´t this horrible music... That would be the first thing I´d ask DSM to erase! Still shuddering... Is this sound set available for everyone? How much is it? I like the remote control, hehe.. Great work with the pilot and the details so far. Rock on! Akondo
Thanks. Since this bird is German Iron I went with the song Prussian Glory to set the tone. You can have sound sets designed to fit your needs. DSM has a great web site. His work is incredible. Again thanks for everyones input. Akondo
Does the oxygen hose hook up to the blue arrow or the red arrow. Never seen a picture of how the pilot is all hooked up. Thanks for any help in advance Shawn
JRutman
you don't see many kits built with the pilot in the pit. It looks very nice. I wouldn't want to be the one to instal Radus belts on a figure though. They are super nice belts but it would be a nightmare for me trying to get the paper to conform to the figure. Akondo
Slow builds is my middle name. Sometimes after work and the kids are in bed I get to work on her for a whole half hour before the Sandman comes knocking on my door.
