spacewolf
Well, here we go. I got this kit at a yard sale a few years ago and was waiting for the right time to do it up. I have this neat idea, a LOTR twist so I picked up a figure set to go with it. I'm not going to build it as any distinctive aircraft but more as a representation of what was seen during the battle. My inspiration was several shots of different 109's in less than happy situations like this. So here is the before shot.... all kinds of stuff to play with..... and away we go ! LSP_Kevin
Cool Vaughn. We're getting a fair collection of these kits in this GB! Kev
PhilB
Welcome aboard Vaughn! Most of the "usual suspects" are here now! You doing a crashed 109 then? Seems familiar to me with mine on Russ's GB. If you are going to do one on the deck then I think you could use these fella's to stand guard on it. http://www.relishmodels.co.uk/figures/1-32...ccessories.html Historically it would probably have been the Home Guard! Good Stuff! Phil
LDSmodeller
Hi Vaughn Looking forward to your build and how it will be finished. Particularly intersting is that after the BoB, a 109 which had been downed during the battle was shipped off to little ol New Zealand by Gt Britain as a thank you for those Kiwi's who flew and fought in the battle. Your photo had me rumaging through some files, as it brought to mind the subject as above Here's a link if you're interested Kiwi Me 109 Regards Alan
