Tamiya's 32nd scale Spitfire Mk.IXc built OOB as the French Armee de l'Air option. Deliberatley dirty to represent a "long-in-the-tooth" workhorse.

Markings painted on using Miracle Paint Masks - am finding these more and more user-friendly. Hopefully the results speak for themselves.

Jaw-droppingly beautiful model Ralph. Just amazing. You should bring one of your builds to Expo next year. You'd slay us all.

Kev: I think I'm getting the hang of "add reply"............

Well done! Told you it was easy.

Nope - still not quite getting the hang of this "quote/reply" thing.....

Guys: thanks for your kind words - very much appreciated. Thanks too for your comments on the other models.

Dave: will try to dig up some Nightfigher Spitfire pics.

Raf: yep - you're right - some "tool rash" on the big engine cover fasterners wouldn't be out of place.

Kev: haven't given up on the forum style yet!

Cheers, Ralph.
