petrov27
wow - that is a monster! So, question, are the 1/18 HPH actually kits? Or are they just custom built for the customer? Looking at their store it sounds like they are built/finished by HPH? edit - I see the 109 is labeled as a kit so I guess that is clear... but looking at the other 1/18 in the store those sounded more like HPH does the build? Guest Vulcan32
The 109 is a kit, the others are built by HpH. But if you ask, you can get the planes in "kit form". Guest Vulcan32
Some news from Hph from my latest visit at their factory. SB2C-4 Helldiver: the kit looks fantastic and will be available in about 3 weeks. Still missing are the decals and seatbelts from HGW, metal parts from Profimodeller and instruction CD. To answer some questions: There will be no wingfold set. A-20G: to answer some questions, the A-20 will be released only in G-version. Still in a very early stage, will not be released before 2017. Me-323 Gigant: release maybe end of the year, this kit is really huge. Cheers, Heinz tomv87, Alburymodeler and Zero77
Guest Vulcan32
More news: C-47/DC-3: also in a very early stage, release not before 2017. Jiri has planned to do this kit with a plain surface, that will be covered with Aluminium coloured PE sheets with positive rivets. Here´s a test part. Will be a lot of work for us, but looks like the real thing. F-7F Tigercat: very, very early stage, but we will get it. Guest Vulcan32
Some more news: some guys here asked for a catapult for the Kingfisher, Jiri said that this will be a question of interest, so maybe one of the mods can start a poll here. But important are the "I will purchase it" guys, not the "I would like to see it", you know what I mean. Jiri doesn´t want to take any risk here, he, personally, is not interested in the catapult. I´m glad that he is interested in the Gigant. He will also do a 1/32 Chmelak, one of his favourite planes. Extrem Models: after the Gigant, they think about a B-29. Further projects: Handley Page O/400(CAD work already done) and Jiri is thinking about the SR-71. Other kits, that are possible: Ventura and S.M. 79 What I have heard between the lines is, that HpH is moving away from small (1/32 single engine) kits. These are no success. Another thing that I´ve heard is, that we will get two new IM kits from FLY. From one I would never ever have thought, that we will get it in IM. The other one is a long awaited jet. Very good news. Yesterday we have been at Pardubice air show with some nice combat scenes, so look for Aviaticka pout 2016 or Pardubice air show 2016 at youtube. I´m sure you will have fun.
