Guest Clunkmeister
My goal is to either find and acquire for or help Harv find and acquire one of Paragon’s Tse Tse conversion sets. The Nats are up and coming...

BloorwestSiR
Haven't found the conversion set but this at a store here in Toronto : So now I've got a bit more reference material now. Carl LSP_K2 and BiggTim
BiggTim
Nice, that! You guys have got me thinking I might want to go that route with my Mossie, too! BloorwestSiR
LSP_Ray
I am going the 'easy' route: Do the Tse Tse in 1/24th, do the FB.VI in 1/32... BiggTim
BloorwestSiR
Well, I've gone and done something silly: It's amazing how much you can accomplish when you ignore requests for dinner from your kids. Harv and I got talking about what would be involved using the Tamiya kit as a starting point and one thing led to another. I haven't really tried this sort of thing, so hopefully it'll work out. I do have to say I probably wouldn't have tried this without having watched and learned some of these techniques from other members on here. All sanded smooth and any gaps /dents filled with CA. Bomber_County
Way cool there Carl..........looking forward to this, who makes the barrel or will have to be turned? BloorwestSiR
BloorwestSiR
RB make a 1/35 6 pdr barrel. It'll be slightly smaller as a result but it's close enough for me. BiggTim and dutik

BloorwestSiR
Thanks Anthony! I'm really having fun doing this. Still can't believe I am though. Well, I made the commitment to the conversion now with modifying kit parts. I started on the bomb bay doors. First up was filling the shell ejection ports for the original 20mm canon. The doors on the XVIII are asymmetrical so I filled in the original centerline and rescribed the new one. I'll have to see what they look like under a coat of primer.
