Dave Pratt
I just received my 1/32 Shinden kit and wow, what a nice looking kit.Excellent panel lines, rivet detail, good looking decals and plenty of detail. Why then for instructions that are about 95% Japanese? It's not an inexpensive kit and I'm pretty sure this company isn't just selling it in Japan so why the Japanese instructions? Hopefully their next effort will address this area.Oh I'll build it and all but the instructions should include more English text for what I paid for it... Phill P
I agree, it's a fantastic kit. Regarding the instructions, if you have a look on the side of the box, you'll see a small piece of text stating "FOR JAPAN ONLY MADE IN CHINA".....looks like us westerners are on our own. LSP_Kevin
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that this kit was always intended for the domestic Japanese market. The fact that it's also available to other markets is just an incidental bonus. Kev
Dave Williams
It's really only available in Japan since that is the only place it is sold. Volks may take overseas individual orders for the kit, but it's a kit meant for the Japanese home market.

ssculptor
Zoukei-Mura did a Kikka? Kev I do not know which company produced the Kikka in 1/32 scale. I only know that there was such a kit and it was limited to the Japanese market. I believe it was produced 15 to 20 years ago. Also, I have no idea as to why distribution was limited to the Japanese market. Stephen

LSP_Kevin
Also, I have no idea as to why distribution was limited to the Japanese market. Actually, that's a very common thing for Japanese companies to do, and model companies are no exception. Hasegawa does it all the time, for example. Kyle
Actually holiday should be over, at least going by the Hobby Link Japan site. There are probably busy with all the orders from over the Holiday.
