Juggernut
Kevin,My only critique of your build is the cowling color. The color should have a touch of blue in it. WEM makes a perfect match or you can mix flat black with a few drops of midnight blue. You are doing such a great build that I believe you should leave no stone unturned! Rocky Only Mitsubishi built zero's had blue-black cowlings. Nakajima built zero's had semi-gloss black cowlings. Since the entire A6M2N production run was built by Nakajima, they will have semi-gloss black cowls. He has the correct color on the cowl.
LSP_K2
The long awaited (at least by me anyway), painting of the upper airframe has commenced, revealing more boo boos that need to be addressed. Oh well, maybe I can paint dark greens tomorrow.

LSP_K2
Looks like it’s going to be a real busy weekend, Rufe wise. I have (finally), commenced with upper fuselage colors, revealing yet more problem areas that need to be addressed. It’s not as grim as I thought, but nonetheless needs to be dealt with. As soon as putty dries, I’ll resume painting/weathering upper fuselage. I suspect there will be many updates before the weekend is through. We’ll see. LSP_K2
OK, I have now corrected errors and proceeded with a random spraying of lighter greens; hard to see in photos, but trust me, it’s there.

LSP_K2
Tail area pursuits. With any luck, I’ll be able to gloss coat airframe and decal tomorrow; wanted to attempt today, but I'm about all played out.
