bcauchi
Great looking bird man. I am not into jets but this looks really nice. I like the method you use to fill in the gaps. Ihave never tried this out but it looks easy enough and the results speak for themselves. Great stuff!!
blackbetty
thanx for the comments. the method is something i learned on arc in the tips section, not my idea i did the outer wings next i want them folded, because on the carrier the wings are folded most of the time and it looks kinda mean also saves space on the shelf
blackbetty
the sidewinder rails came next you have to be carefull, the instructions mix up the upper and lower parts (dont ask how i found out ) the eduard instructions for the photoetch give the correct numbers

blackbetty
thanx rigor just a small update: i started fiddling with the little cockpit parts from the resin kit and monted them to the kit parts, then primered them
blackbetty
then fitted the rudders to the fins - these only fit after some "persuasion" with sandpaper then, while checking the fit of the fins to the fuselage, i managed to drop em    (both fin and fuselage) deeeep breath..... it seems that i always drop things during assembly at least once well, its repairable and i did just that
stusbke
thanx rigorjust a small update: i started fiddling with the little cockpit parts from the resin kit and monted them to the kit parts, then primered them I noticed you added some the timer watches to the Ip coaming however these two units are for a blue angel f-18 just letting you know mate the rest of the build is looking verry great mate Greetz STB Frederick Jacobs

blackbetty
after temporarily closing the geardoors i primed the undersides it is really hard to mask the front gear, but its impossible to mount it after the fuselagehalves are closed a touchup of the painted assemblies is in order

Starfighter
Great job so far! Especially the nozzles look great! But I'm almost sure that I've mounted my Hornet's front gear after assembling the fuselage, so it must be possible. But honestly, I don't know how I did it... Anyway, I can't wait to see more progress of your Bug!
