Hi there long time no see..

im beginning to model again, since the weather dosnt give my rc flying a chance with a wind speed of 12m/s yesterday i started looking for new kits.

i know i have a lot projects going on, but guess what, thats the great thing about a hobby, you dont have to finnish the things you dont like.. ;)

i found a few Mirage kits, and thought it would be a great idea to have one of those in my 1/32 collection,

BUT im looking for aftermarket stuff, detail photos of the 1/1 and paint schemes for the Mirage 5J IDF, Mirage III Dassault

hope you can help!!! ;)

Aussie Mirage\.....this plane is sitting outside now under a tarp...all the prop warbirds are nesting in the warm hangar. The 3 Tony's were especially good to see.

Jens...DMI sells Matterhorn circle stuff for the engine. There is even a review on LSP in the reviews section.

I have a resin details set on this aircraft by an Aussie group Plane Bits. Its similar to True Details quality...well, maybe not as good as that perhaps....its rare, hard to find and I'd be inclined to scratchbuild this detail.

Supermario is the man for a nice Mirage pit ;) ....

Aussie Decals (via Victory Models) also supply a large range of mirage decals...or the one's I posted in discussion once...

Ummm...Victorian Hobby Centre is where I purchase my aftermarket decals...I think one of their staff might hang out on ARC? HS?...but drop them a line. ( here) . If you can't make contact I'll make a phone call for you.

Good luck...cheers Matty

Hello Jens!!!

Not too much for aftermarket, the guys have covered most all there is. Matterhorn Circle says they are working on a new cockpit, but nothing out yet.

As for color schemes, there are all kinds! So many countries used the Mirage, take your pick!!! Not too many decal sets out there however. You are pretty much on your own. I hope to soon post my Stalled Project in the Group build, which is my Mirage, which will be either a UAB a/c in a desert scheme, or maybe a South African machine.
