KOTR Posted March 12, 2007 Share Posted March 12, 2007 Yepp, you need a crane to move them. Unlike you intend looking for another profession relatively soon. And they are a bit more complex as it looks like. The ones I had been working on (plastic cages for roller bearings) had canals for heating the mold so the plastic does not stick to it due to cooling to early when injected. And cooling channels so they are already rigid when the mold is opened. And if temperature control does not work as intended, the apprentice has some fun cleaning them again.
