Gorgeous, Richard, just gorgeous! I've always believed that very light-handed highlighting is best for cockpits, and these pictures - to my eyes at least - are ample proof of that. More photos please !!! :D

That copit looks sweet Richard the detail along with the smoothness of the paint looks very convincing.Like Jean said the shading looks spot on.Kevin

That must be a real Spitfire Cockpit!!!!..so well done...Fantastic work...

Superb work Richard. Really, really neat. Very clean modelling. Is that a Waldron placards set I see? The seat belt looks very realistic too. How did you get the colour to look so, well.. canvassy?

 

I think I've just added another word to the English vocab :lol:

Yip Andy they are Waldron placards. The set belts are painted with Humbrol deck tan and then given a wash of Tamiya clear smoke. The buckles and eyelits are the easy bits to paint. Just scratched off the paint to let the brass show through!
