Chris/Germany
Hy folks, this a D-9 I finished two weeks ago, also ( like the first posted D-9) a old REVELL- kit, lot´s of work, but also lots of fun! Materials for the scratchbuildings like before, aluminium-sheet, modelling wood, alu- and brass tubes, different cables and wires and a lot of scrapped computer components, almost everything I can get! Paint is revell colours mixed with oil-colors, handpainted ( don´t use an airbrush......ähhh...cause I don´t have one :-) ), finish is a special mixture of antique-furniture-wax ( top-secret!) More questions? Be free to e-mail me. hope you enjoy Chris/Germany

Chris/Germany
detail starboard - ammo-belt is made from 0,4 mm brass-wire, cutted to 4 mm lenght, nearly 30 pieces ( done this with a Jug´s ammo, gives nearly 2 meters in lenght for all four cannons!) LSP_Kevin
I hope everyone realises that this thread is from 2003! I spoke to Chris earlier this year and he is busy with other non-modelling activities, but hopes to return to it soon. His builds are always spectacular, and I for one sure hope he can grace us with them again in the near future. Kev
