P-40 Posted September 11, 2006 Share Posted September 11, 2006 Just for visual effect which is pretty cool looking. When it’s idling or taxiing by the white blade looks like it’s slowly going around. Don’t know if there is much effect at racing speeds, the film’s I have seen didn’t show it from the front very well. Back in the sixties and early seventies there were a couple that would use different colored blades for the same effect. Coolie? Is he actually racing the plane this year? Even the colours of the sky...its so much the same. Grrreat looking plane....prop looks good but I'm thinking Michael Jackson with a white glove...its a disturbing thought.
