ChrisS
Guys, Does anyone know where to get the tiny brass hex nuts used by Klaus on his He162 build here? I know he had mentioned that he had a German source but I was unable to find the exact hex nuts on that site. Anyway I need to replenish my stash of "cool teensy things" to use on my next build, any help would be appreciated.

Gene
Try a well stocked model railroad shop. I've seen hex's in various sizes of injected plastic (usually in rows like nail gun rounds). HTH

ScottS.
Hey Chris, Another way you can go is to use "Plastruct" Styrene Hex Rod, it comes in many sizes ie .5mm to at least 2.0mm, they make great nuts or bolt heads with just a little practice at cutting them. At around $2 a package/10 rods per package they are cheap and last a long time.
stevegallacci
There is another way to produce your own hex heads (and works for other things too) Get a sheet (thick sheet 1/8 or better) or chunck of lead that is flat. Then get the smallest Allen wrench you can find (they come in suprisingly small sizes) and use it to press little hex-shaped impressions into the lead. Using a drill press will give you consistant depth and makes the pressing easier. When you have a buch done, soften some sprue with heat and smoosh a glob of the nearly molten plastic into the impressions. Instant little hex heads that you then shave off the plastic mass. Quick and simple and the technique can apply to other shapes.
LSP_Ray
If you check out some of the PE for armor, there is sets of hex heads in PE that go pretty darn small. Also, Historex has a punch and die set of four sizes for hex heads, the smallest is really small.

Rato
Chris, Another (and cheaper, in the long term) option is to use Historex Hexagonal punch and die set: Historex Agents Rato
