thierry laurent Posted Saturday at 07:43 PM Posted Saturday at 07:43 PM After 40 years Dragon models limited company is closing its doors. If the company always stayed a very minor LSP actor with just three families of kits (P-51D, Me 109E and early Me 110) it really changed the landscape of AFV models. It looks most AFV molds will go to Zimi but for the rest... wait and see... scvrobeson 1

The company is shifting to the digital side of things. "Dragon itself is not closing, but it is pivoting toward intellectual property, 3D technology, and digital assets". Martinnfb 1
denders Posted Sunday at 01:41 AM Posted Sunday at 01:41 AM Yup, the models will be marketed through a new company name Drami. Squadron has a pre-order for various old Dragon kits under the Drami name including a number of the various boxings of the 1/32 Bf110. LSP_K2 and Martinnfb 2
thierry laurent Posted Sunday at 05:33 AM Author Posted Sunday at 05:33 AM Ok. I must correct my initial post: Dragon is not disappearing as a company but it will not release models anymore. Alas, to me, the result looks very similar if they now simply work as a design office as the others already existing in China (T-rex jumping to my mind). We will see where "Drami" goes but it looks this may just be a way to sell remaining stocks before seeing the models under another company name as some shops cannot order kits anymore. Wait and see... CRAZY IVAN5 1
