rescale-store Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Hi everyone, I'd like to share a resin model I've been working on: a DB 610 engine in 1/32 scale — the coupled Daimler-Benz DB 605 powerplant used on the Heinkel He 177 Greif. Kais, Jim Barry, LSP_Ray and 8 others 11
mattlow Posted September 3 Posted September 3 This looks very nice. Any chance of more photos? Matt nmayhew 1
rescale-store Posted September 3 Author Posted September 3 Thanks! Here are a few more photos. chukw, LSP_Kevin, Ralph-D and 7 others 7 3
mattlow Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Well, you've made an excellent start with the engine... when are you going to model the rest of the He 177...? What else used this engine? The Messerschmitt Me 264 (?), the 'Adolphine'... The heinkel He 119 as well... Can't think of anything else. Matt
rescale-store Posted September 3 Author Posted September 3 A good idea regarding He 177 🙂 Heinkel He 177 Greif, Junkers Ju 288C — these engines were actually used. Focke-Wulf Fw 191B, Dornier Do 317B, Junkers Ju 288D, Junkers Ju 288E - Planned (could be implemented here as a concept) SNCAC NC.3021 Belphégor - French experimental high-altitude aircraft mattlow 1
mattlow Posted September 3 Posted September 3 SNCAC NC.3021 Belphégor Ah yes, I now recall I was reading about this somewhere... a very weird looking machine... Ju 288 in 1/32 would be do-able.. Matt
rescale-store Posted September 4 Author Posted September 4 Experimental aircraft are built to explore and test mathematical calculations in practice—no one pays attention to their appearance there))) I'll consider producing 1/32-scale model airplanes 🤔 (the main challenge for the developers is to reach a compromise on a price that allows buyers to purchase the product while also covering the resources spent on the project). mattlow, dutik and D.B.
