When I hit the proverbial lottery I'll pull a Wingnut Wings and start a model company , and go for all the P-51K's and other UH-1D/H's we always want! Money won't be an issue!

Fixed it!  YW!

An F2G, starting with just a front to the "birdcage" original with a Wasp Magor engine and a four blade prop in 3/4 tone, counter shade scheme... YEAHHHH

I've been a regular on almost every modeling forum since RMS back in the '90's. For the past several years, I've been a regular user of Facebook and follow several scale modeling channels on YouTube.

In all of those years, and across all of those forums and mediums, I have never come across posts, videos, or comments "from the masses" asking for a P-51K. I've only seen them here, and strangely, all from the same modeler. :D

Now, you want to know what platform does get asked for "by the masses" on a consistent and regular basis? The UH-1D/H

The good news is that Tamiya's superlative P-51D/K Mustang, Pacific Theater kit includes all the parts for a P-51D, P-51K, or F-6D.  Perhaps the kit is compromised by its stylized surface details, but this is an aspect of scale modeling that eludes just about every manufacturer.

It gained traction and has become a meme on this forum.

I salute @John1!
