jimvit Posted Tuesday at 08:04 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:04 PM A new project nearing completion. An SH kit, an extrapolation of the G-50 Freccia from the same brand. I added wheels and a resin figure, tubing, wires, and complete riveting. This was a development aircraft, of which only 108 were built, and only one complete, unrestored example remains, housed in the Belgrade museum. Vallejo painting. A pretty good model, but it's a hobby-specific kit, isn't it? Italie 1941 Thanks for watching geedubelyer, Furie, Hubert Boillot and 17 others 20
Furie Posted Tuesday at 10:18 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:18 PM Thanks, Jean-Marc, for always thinking outside the box and introducing us to so many beautiful and lesser-known aircraft. Those blotches are masterfully painted. Your paintwork is so precise and consistent, which makes it incredibly difficult to pull off well. Nothing but respect for this gorgeous model, I absolutely love it!

Ces taches sont peintes avec une maîtrise exceptionnelle. Votre travail de peinture est tellement précis et uniforme que c'est incroyablement difficile à réussir. Que du respect pour ce magnifique modèle, je l'adore ! Thank you, my friend Denis, for your kind words and appreciation. SH is well-deserved
Kagemusha Posted Wednesday at 10:38 AM Posted Wednesday at 10:38 AM Lovely rendition, and I had no idea there was a G.50 still in existence, pity it's not been restored...

J'ignorais totalement qu'une G.50 existait encore, dommage qu'elle n'ait pas été restaurée... Thank you, gentlemen, for your kind comments. Iain 1
Tecnikit Posted Wednesday at 12:41 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:41 PM Originality is always a gift. And increasingly valuable. Nice plane and nice model. Italian manufacturers are another great forgotten name in model making. The Italians produced some truly beautiful and innovative models for their time, including some impressive bombers. There is a CR-32 here in Spain, and the collection of Italian racing seaplanes is a spectacle of elegance and beauty that in my opinion has not been equaled in that type of aircraft. This photographer has put together a very good collection; https://www.flickr.com/photos/classic_aviation/8489331416/in/photostream/ Furie 1
scvrobeson Posted Thursday at 01:11 AM Posted Thursday at 01:11 AM What a delightful build. Didn't know there was a two seat version of the G.50 Matt

AlexM Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago As others have already said, great work with the camouflage that makes those Italian aircraft of the time so interesting. Cheers Alex
