Artful69 Posted August 2 Posted August 2 I've been checking every couple of weeks ... predominantly for news of the P.51 (also due this year) ... Alas this one just covers the Ki-100 and the pending trip to the US IPMS event ... The news being that kit will be available for purchase at the event - BEFORE the August 8th retail availability https://www.zoukeimura.co.jp/en/sentiment/oyajiblog_139.html Rog geedubelyer and John1 2
denders Posted August 2 Posted August 2 I've been expecting to be able to purchase this at NATS. It's first on my list.
Gazzas Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Looks like a nice build... but reading the 'blog'... some pretty bad AI diction.
dennismcc Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Looking forward to building this one. Cheers Dennis CRAZY IVAN5 1

He has always had a rather gushy, flowery style, right from the beginning. I can kinda see why you might say that as it does have a very passing resemblance to the verbal sludge pumped out by, for example, eBay's AI descriptions (why anyone uses them I cannot understand).. Rick Griewski Posted Sunday at 10:04 PM Posted Sunday at 10:04 PM If ZM brings some Ki-100 kits they may have to referee the buyers. Strong demand within my club. CRAZY IVAN5 1
Juggernut Posted Sunday at 10:38 PM Posted Sunday at 10:38 PM (edited) Has anyone looked at the instructions and noticed that the kit appears to be designed to allow a future release of the early (razor-back????) version? Edited Sunday at 10:39 PM by Juggernut Out2gtcha 1

That would only make sense. Especially if the buildability of the kit was the same weather or not they used the breakdown of parts make a future razorback or not.
LSP_Mike Posted Sunday at 11:29 PM Posted Sunday at 11:29 PM No, I'm waiting for my kit. But- it would be cool if another variant could come later.

Radub Posted Monday at 10:46 AM Posted Monday at 10:46 AM (edited) On page 3 of the instructions depicted in the blog there is an explanation about how the "high back" and "teardrop" canopies/fuselages came about on the real aircraft. The text then goes on to explain that the two versions will be issued as separate kits. Radu Edited Monday at 10:46 AM by Radub Juggernut, Artful69, Rick Griewski and 4 others 5 2

Their translations have always been awkward from Japanese to English. Even before AI those blogs read a little weird. i have enjoyed those updates though for a long time. I will check out their table at nats but this kit is not for me.
