You have to attend the Quantum Physics class of the MIT to understand the price reduction formula …😵‍💫

It’s easier to just rescale the whole bed that has been tested at 1/24 than to create new beds at 1/32. My thinking anyway. I wish I had created one project with the 9 beds it allows so the parts would move easier between beds but I only learned about multiple bed projects the other day. (And learned you can’t move parts from one project to another very easily)

I’ve priced it at 1/32. I really don’t expect sales at 1/24. It’s just for me, though I won’t turn away a special order.

I started to test the engine:cowling:wing assembly but it did not meet expectations. It was perhaps about as difficult as many kits that put a little burden on us to creatively correct the kit’s shortcomings, but I can’t accept it. I must put more support into the model and place locator features. So that’s my weekend…

I'm a tad confused Jim.

I can pick n mix STL's as and when I desire. Even different models on the same bed.

With your mention of supports inside the fuselage, you can do them manually.

Wherever I can I never allow any supports on 'cosmetically' important areas and use internal supports as often and little as required.

Status. Reprinting wings with better design for assembly, but made a milestone: It’s all printed and cut out of supports. I’m fairly happy with fit tests but there will be puttying and sanding made a little more difficult by the nearby rivets. Some edges are just not perfectly joining. Control surfaces are tight but can be sanded down to fit. I put the brass tubes in the landing gear struts. A small child could sit on this plane.  Ha ha, no he couldn’t! It is strong though

I guess I should make templates for the windows. I’ll see if the cameo can cut some clear plastic and make it easier on the builder.

I had a real senior moment today. I was sorting through new parts when it seemed curious to me that while I had just put a starboard wing into the printer job queue, I also had one in my hand! Im

just 60! Help!

Morning everyone!

Getting close to making a production ready kit but I'm going to need to hear more commitment to spread out the cost.  I have @Breaker and @Hubert Boillot committed. DM with your email if you want to get an order in.  I don't need many, I don't even need a deposit,  but I need more than 2. Thanks!

The P-38 Lightning was huge! Look at the similarities though. The P-38 had 3 times the power, however. Fun fact, the first P-38s were called Atlantas (awkward). When the Brits got a few of them to test for their expected order they called them Lightnings. The Americans were impressed with this naming talent and renamed it, Lightning. The RAF never really was impressed and cancelled the order. Other fact. The Lockheed Junior was put into a combat role with the Dutch in the East Indies. They fit bombs and guns on it. I don't know much more than that.

Haha! I did just that with a completely full build plate with the main port fuselage section and load of other bits of the Aladdin F-15A. It will keep for a second one!

I'm 64, so it is understandable... 😂😂😂😂
