geedubelyer Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Hello all. I hope you'll permit me to share a project that is both exciting and huge? The first thing I need to stress is this is not my build! I have been kindly allowed to share the work of a gentleman who reached out to me recently. Anthony in NZ, RCPlym, Out2gtcha and 2 others 5
RCPlym Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Where is it then? Serve it up Sir! 😜🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 geedubelyer, Martinnfb and Rainer Hoffmann 2 1

geedubelyer Posted July 7 Author Posted July 7 (edited) Apologies folk. My phone ran out of charge Where was I? Ah yes. I think I may have mentioned how much I like the B-One on a thread and got a message explaining that someone was creating one in 1/32nd scale! The gentleman concerned is called Stefan and is using different materials to make this behemoth of a model. He has sent a few photos so far and I will keep this thread updated on his behalf. If anyone has any questions I will do my best to ask him for any possible answers. I think it's obvious how large this is. mozart Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Blimey, that’s old school and some! We’ve had a couple of these beasts over our house recently, bloody noisy! Mal_Belford, scvrobeson, geedubelyer and 1 other 4
RCPlym Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Ooof! R/C flying modelling style in there! Thats some seriously heavy structure building going on! geedubelyer and Martinnfb 2

When all four burners are at full chat it sounds (and feels) like the Universe is being rent asunder. I think they're even louder than a Vulcan A beautiful aircraft to my eyes though. Rockwell really did a great job on the design. If it looks right, it flies right. I'm certainly eager to see where this project takes Stefan. As you can see, he has procured 3D printed engine pods. That's MEEEEE! I built a B-1 in 1/32 scale and....... Oh. Right. I see. I get it. The other, OTHER B-1. Like, the "real" one. That actually flies. And isn't just a silly little maintenance stand on the ramp. What a cool - and absolutely MASSIVE project this is! Cheers to your mate, and thank him for sharing with us! geedubelyer and Martinnfb 1 1

scvrobeson Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Wild project. At some point, I think ambition might outstrip practicality, and this is one of those times. A 55in long model takes up a stunning amount of space I'm sure Matt Martinnfb and RCPlym 1 1
